I own a 90 NA with 95k miles and so far have had no serious problems (replaced the IAA sensor--somewhat expensive $450) in almost a year of ownership. The NA is pretty fast and handles every bit as well as a TT (despite what others will tell you regarding the HICAS) and looks almost identical-People constantly ask if it is turbo as they can't tell-An NA will typically last longer than a TT-Turbo's do provide additional strain on a engine and shorten it's life somewhat and turbo's themselves have limited lifespans-I am looking for a TT if I find one but only if it is mint with low miles and stock-I do not race my car and rarely push it for more than a couple of seconds so I really do not have to have a TT-it's just some added security (LOL)-You need to decide how much you are willing to spend as both cars if mistreated can be $$$-figure in timing belt replacement $500+, tires, insurance, (possible) turbo rebuilds, and other maintainance when making your decision-despite what some may say and poke fun at the NA is a great car and I do not regret owning it over a TT at all- GOOD LUCK!
